    Studio view, Jersey City, NJ DECLARACIÓN BIO Megan Klim es una artista de medios mixtos que vive y trabaja en Jersey City, Nueva Jersey. Recibió su MFA de Cranbrook Academy of Art en la disciplina de pintura. Su trabajo de técnicas mixtas yuxtapone varios materiales en un plano de imagen, destacando sus cualidades inherentes para crear tensión superficial, lo que provoca una conversación e interacción entre ellos. Una presencia física es evidente en sus piezas desde superficies encáusticas texturizadas, papel perforado hasta estructuras en forma de cuadrícula hechas de hilo, alambre o tela. Los temas de Klim generalmente hacen referencia a la idea de un gesto interno / externo, así como de estructura versus gesto. Mediante el uso de patrones o repeticiones, reflexiona sobre la individualidad humana al mismo tiempo que ofrece una experiencia visual táctil. Su objetivo es que a través de lo tangible se cree y se sienta un espacio etéreo en lugar de solo verlo. Klim ha expuesto en NYC, NJ, MI, PA, FL y ha recibido numerosos premios. Sus piezas de técnica mixta se han visto en ART BASEL, Miami, así como en varios museos.
