back The Tabulation series was made by first layering color, then covering the panel with layers of encaustic. The design was then incised and carved to reveal the color underneath.

Série voilée retour Voile: une chose qui cache, déguise ou obscurcit. Avec ces pièces, je joue avec l'idée de transparence vs densité. Les matériaux polarisés (grille métallique, gaze douce) interagissent également entre eux. Ces pièces sont sur des boîtes fabriquées à la main pour leur donner une présence plus sculpturale. SOLD
